Ploffo next to the others

Other tools always miss something: approval, an API, an MCP server, a generator that works, a collage tool. Ploffo misses none of it — it is all there, in one subscription.

Checked on 19 September 2026, each time on their own pages. A dash means: not found there on that date.

Three tools sit closest to us: PostProval (Belgium), Social Media Planner (Belgium) and Planable (Romania). All three let a client approve, all three aim at agencies.

Outside these three, approval is not a given. Blotato, a popular all-in-one planner, says so itself on its own blog (checked 20 September 2026): “Blotato is built so one person can create that content with AI and publish it everywhere without a sign-off step.” Anyone who wants a client to look along has to go elsewhere.

What follows comes from their own pages, not from a comparison site. The sources are at the bottom, so you can read them yourself.

Approval, all three have it

PostProval has approval from €9 per client per month. Planable has multi-level approval with a client link without an account at the heart of the product. Social Media Planner puts it in its own words as prepare, have it checked, only then publish.

So that is no longer a difference there. But none of the three does any of what follows below — for them the tick box is the endpoint, for us it’s the starting point.

How many times you send

PostProval puts its method on its own home page: “Send the posts for approval → Let automatic reminders do the work → Adjust feedback in the tool → Send adjustments for approval.”

Two sends, and in between a person adjusts the feedback. That is their solution, not their problem — and it is exactly the step that falls away with us.

What gets checked before the round leaves

Their check is counting. From PostProval’s own feature list: “Hashtag count — we check the number of hashtags (max. 30)” and “Character count.” Two counts.

In a designed post the whole message sits inside the image. No spellchecker gets in there, and that is where we do look.

Character count against the maximumyes——yes
Number of hashtagsyes——yes
Where the platform puts “more”———yes, as a line through the text
Spelling and accents in the text———yes, and put right

Every “yes” on their side is on their own sales page. Every dash is an absence on that same page on 19 September 2026 — not proof that it exists nowhere.

Ten brands, two-step approval

They charge per client (PostProval) or per workspace (Planable). We charge per account, with a ceiling on the number of channels. One client with eight channels is cheap with them; ten clients with two channels each is cheap with us.

The case that counts for an agency is the second step: you approve, then your client. With PostProval and with Planable that sits in their most expensive plan before custom pricing.

Per month
PostProval 2.0 Pro — ten times €49€490
Planable Pro — ten times $59$590, plus $14 for analytics and $9 for engagement per workspace
Social Media Planner Agency — 25 channels€125
Ploffo Agency — ten brands, unlimited channels€279

Their prices as they stood on their own pages on 19 September 2026.

And if you only look at channels

Social Media Planner charges per account, and their FAQ says one account is one connected channel — the same unit as ours. Our plans also carry a number of brands: Mini and Solo one, Studio three, Agency ten.

Four things that do not appear on their pages

  1. A comment gets carried out

“Can this go a week later?” — and the date has moved before you open your screen. With them a person adjusts the feedback; that is written out in PostProval’s own list of steps.

  2. A folder of images becomes a planned month

Plano reads what is there, picks days and times, writes the captions and proposes the series. They start at an empty post.

  3. The text inside the image gets checked

In every language the post exists in, side by side. In a designed post the whole message is in there, and no spellchecker reaches it.

  4. An API and an MCP server

So your assistant can create a round and ask for the outcome. None of the three has that.

Questions we get a lot

Why only three tools here?

Because these three do the same work for the same audience: client approval as the heart of the product, and agencies as the buyer. All three were checked on their own pages, not through a comparison site.
