Connecting channels

Which channels Ploffo supports, what you need to have ready, and why some platforms take extra steps.

Which channels

LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business Profile and X.

X is an add-on: you book it per X account, in two sizes. The amounts are on the pricing page.

What you usually need

It differs per platform, but this comes up almost everywhere:

  • A business account, not a personal profile. Instagram wants a business or creator account, Facebook a page, Pinterest a business account.
  • Admin rights on the page itself. Editor or advertiser isn’t enough.
  • An email address on your own domain and a phone number, because some platforms verify against those.

Why it isn’t equally quick everywhere

Most platforms only allow publishing through an app they review first. That approval takes documents, a demonstration of what the app does, and time — a few days for some, weeks for others. While it runs, the channel carries an asterisk on the pricing page.

A channel that drops out

Connections expire. A password that changes, a page that changes hands, a token that runs out after a few months — you’ll hear it from us, with the step to reconnect.
