Your data, exporting and deleting

What Ploffo keeps, for how long, and how to take it all with you or have it erased.

What we keep

Your account and workspaces, your scheduled and published posts, your images, and for every publication the record: what went out, when, what the platform said back, and with which public link. If you asked for approval, the sign-off belongs to that, with its date and time.

For how long

Account and workspace data the term of the agreement, plus 30 days
Scheduled and published posts the term of the agreement, plus 12 months
Contact messages up to 2 years after the last contact

Exporting

Where: Settings › Your data › Export everything. You pick one workspace or all of them, and you get a file with your posts, your images and the record of every publication. With a lot of material it takes a while; you get an email with the download link as soon as it’s ready.

You can export at any time. After your subscription ends, that stays possible for thirty days.

Deleting

Where: Settings › Your data. There are two buttons, and the difference matters.

One brand — Delete workspace, at the bottom of that workspace’s settings. The rest of your account keeps running.

Everything — Delete account, at the bottom of Settings › Your data. That takes your workspaces, your channels and your subscription with it.

Deleting isn’t a button after which everything is gone. Your workspace is marked and disappears from view, but it stays for thirty days with a way back. During that period you can still export. You get an email when the period starts and a reminder before it ends. After that it’s gone for good.

Who can get at it

Connections are encrypted and access is limited to whoever needs it. What we arrange with processors and where data sits is in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement.
