Cursor

Call Ploffo from your editor.

Cursor reads an mcp.json file: one block of configuration, and the Ploffo tools show up next to your other MCP servers.

Handy if you are already in Cursor writing captions or a landing page, and want to schedule in the same window.

How to add it

  1. Create the file

    For this one project: .cursor/mcp.json. For all your projects: ~/.cursor/mcp.json.

  2. Fill in the server

    Put the URL and your key in the file, as shown alongside.

  3. Reload Cursor

    The Ploffo tools appear in the list of available tools.

mcp.json

mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "ploffo": {
      "url": "https://mcp.ploffo.com",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <your-key>" }
    }
  }
}

What to know

  • A project file only applies to that project; the global file applies to every project.
  • Do not put your key in a file you share through version control.

Questions we get a lot

Can I share this with my team?

Only if you keep the key separate from the shared file — otherwise it goes into version control too.

Does this work yet?

The MCP server opens at launch, together with the rest of the API.
